REDDY OR INU?

i think this is one of the hardest choices the Parramatta Coaching staff will ever make. Its a very hard decision because you have to look at the players assets and what they lack in. Firstly, Inu is much better than Reddy offensively, hes great with offloads and he can create something out of nothing. However in defense it could be an issue, especially when he is with Eric Grothe.

On the other hand Joel Reddy is a very solid defender and if i recall correctly, last year we did not concede many tries on that side compared to the middle and the other wing. However, Joel is definatley not as good as Inu in attack, however he is still solid. In defense, Grothe will never stop rushing out of his wing to the defense, so the benefit of having Joel Reddy there is because he tends to push back a bit so if the attacker passes Eric Grothe, Joel Reddy will be there. Thats what Inu didn't do and that was our Problem this arvo.

There were many chances the Bunnies had on that side this arvo but the bunnies didn't score. If we versing a team like Dragons or Melbourne in particular, they would of definatley capitalized.Thats why we need to make a decision and fix the problem right away.

So what do you think? Joel Reddy? or Krisnan Inu?

  • Reddy was shit last week..... but he has a history of palying a bad game out of character and jumping right back to good form the next week.

I think Reddy will be the one chosen. I also think there's room for Inu on the bench in place of MK.... however to make this happen either Robinson goes for 80 mins or KK plays 15 mins at hooker and breaks up the halves combo... niether is a good situation really.
  • Drop mk and put either inu or reddy on the bench, tahu reddy and inu are big enough to play as a ball running second rower.
    • i Actually dont think Inu will be good as a call running second rower, i think he would get smashed lol, but tahu and reddy will be good, but tahu isnt an option, he stays in the centres-No doubt
  • Reddy. Inu just doesnt look like we is as reliable as reddy.
    • but did he not play better than Reddy has all year?
  • not really... definantly not in defence. Anyway inu is a winger his D proved that today so its not a matter of reddy v inu its a matter of burt or grothe v inu
    • No i have to disagree, throughout Inu's whole life he has been playing centre, thats his preffered position, but just like Jarryd Hayne he was put in as a winger in first grade. When Inu was a junior, he played centre.
      • but he isnt a better centre than reddy or tahu.. so. Potentially he is just not the form he is showing atm.
and from all reports looks like he isnt favoured over tahu, reddy, burt or grothe so i mean.... i dunno what do you think parras best option is in this situation. i personally cnt see inu breaking into this team full time and by the looks of it neither can DA
  • Inu did not have a good game today. Two shockers in defence (he knew it). I also remember at least one or two unecessary offloads that led to knock ons. Overall we looked vulnerable on that side. So although I am an Inu fan, I think Reddy will be in the side next week.

I agree that the Matt Keating role has to be sorted out. At the moment he comes on with 20 mins to go, does not add much and continues with slowness out of dummy half and borderline passes.
  • Joel reddy mate , end of discussion
