So we are a bunch of sheep?
Ram can have the connotation of a strong immovable object but especially now that most people are not close to a farm
a ram is just a sheep
rather fight off an eel than a ram
Nor is it a sheep penning competition. What's your point?
As in a new logo/name?
Definitely an animal symbol, none of this storm or force shit, the only non animal name id go with is 'Brothers', i think thats a strong name and has been used before in sport but the SJW would complain its not woman inclusive.
Probably Jack Gibsons idea of the Rams, my personal one would be the Parramatta Pigs, but the Eels is the best name imo.
Ey mate, da Parramatta Bruddahs sounds like a good one!
Brothers is owned by qld organisation who should be the next nrl licence. They would have fans from cooloongatta to cairns and huge base of fans ready to jump onboard. There are clubs throughout the state with strong heritage and current junior base that would not only rival but destroy the reach of any another club. Add in sponsorship opportunities from various areas including huge number of registered clubs for funds and it is the best viable option for next nrl team. Not many outside qld know about it but the brothers rugby league has huge reach, funds and potential. Using it outside of qld would be a failure.
Maybe playing out of central qld such as rockhampton or even as 2nd Brisbane team it would have most chance of success due to huge membership base from previous and existing players aross all major qld city regional centres as well as number of registered clubs for financial backing state wide.
