Thankfully Anthony Don is out! He generally has a great game against us.
Wow I never knew we are 2 from 8 at CBUS Stadium. I am yet to witness an Eels victory in the games I have been to (4 or 5 games I think). Quietly confident tomorrow night and I don't think Corey being out will be that big a deal due to the weather. Our pack should have it over theirs I think.

Yeah, terrible record on the Gold Coast in recent years. One of our genuine bogey grounds and teams. We should certainly be the favourites but it won't be easy by any stretch.

I know kickoff isn't until tonight but there isn't a cloud in the sky presently haha so much for the weather prediction. Really looking forward to going to the game.
Ricky mate any chance of the seeing the penalty counts against the Titans. I went to one game on the coast and we were up 16 nill or something then got absolutely hammered by penalties until the Titans run over the top of us.I was wandering have we ever won one against them?

The downside to penalty counts is that they're not actually a retained stat for all games.

That said - and the game you're explicitly referring to - was a game the Eels were leading 16-0 before going on to lose 38-16. The penalty count in that game was deadlocked at 8-apiece. That was in 2015.
In the reciprocal fixture that year, the Eels lost the penalty count 8-7.

One of our few victories on the Gold Coast in 2014 saw us win the penalty count 5-4.
We also won a penalty count in 2013, funnily enough, the game that we were beaten 42-4 in Mudgee.

That's as far back as I can access and I don't have the 2016 games readily available at the moment but it gives you a good indication nevertheless.

Last chance to absorb the crucial stats before our game tonight, so look over them and enjoy!

LOL - "terrible record on the Goldie"

Hmmmmm - we have HAD a terrible record at most grounds over the past 10 years - HOWEVER - this is 2017 and our record so far ain't too shabby at all.

Our record in 2016 wasn't all that shabby either - won enough games to have made the top 8.

Move on people - stats change every second and this looks like our year to change ours.
