All the trolls and wanna be hero told you so clowns. F, Off. ..this is a thread for real fans talking how tonight's game builds our future and positive going fowarndWhy are people disappointed with tonight's performance. Yes we lost but look at reasons. How many top 8, yet top 4 teams lose 4 in a row. We were against a team most likely be in top 8 and we're touted as top 4 and still just lost 3 in row. They came out firing against our side with new halfback, side missing our dominate half where we struggled for combos. With even spread of ball and field position we nearly win tonight. A few sillly penalties and 50/50s against us (our fault) stopped that.BUT even as staunch parra fan I didn't feel confident when we hit there half or inside 20.Wait till Bevan French who was super quite and working his way back (he played like a cat) come back full fitness. Wait till Norman and Moses get combos. Moses long kicking game shits on ours earlier rounds and brings new dimension. As for his defence yes papalli ran over him but wide running back rowers run over small halves and backs regularly.I walked away with more positives then negatives from tonight's gameGO THE MIGHT EELS. I'M A FAN SO NEGAITIVE CONENTS CAN F@#% OFF. THIS IS A POSITIVE THREAD

  • I actually thought the Eels played really well tonight and could have won the game except for a couple of really bad refereeing decisions that had me baffled once again at the inept refereeing these days in the NRL that affects the results of games. Also if Brown didn't get injured and if Scott had stayed on the field when the Eels were leading by 6 might have helped. I just think it was the game that got away but the Eels did dig deep considering.
Also a shame Corey Norman was out injured as I think that him and Mitchell Moses will combine really well. I thought Mitchell Moses had a very good game considering he's only just started with the Eels.
  • Yes its always the refs fault with eels fans monts, theres always an excuse instead of owning it.

    • Did you have difficulty reading my whole comment Snake? I didn't blame the refs I said there were some very suspicious calls and I'm not the only person who saw it and made a comment of it. You really need to read correctly before you judge to harshly.
  • Real fans LOL

  • Real fans???  WTF is this shit???  Anyone who still follows this club after the last 30 years of shit is a real fan.

The boys had a dig tonight but in the end as usual just weren't good enough.  Anyone who thinks we are a top 8 chance are playing with themselves.

    • I think like a vast majority of fans on here Fake Midget is tired of being harassed, ridiculed and abused by other members who continually cristicise the Eels team and coach because he wants to remain optimistic in spite of what happens on the field. That is why he only wants correspondence with fans on here that are not going to run down the team and coach, which is fair enough.
    • F$@king spot on
  • Gus Gould talks shit but he's hit the nail on the had when he says alot of our wins have been soft.

We had about 70% ball and struggled to close Manly out round 1. Dominated the Dragons Round 2.... and I don't think we've played well since. We were decent against the Cowboys who had more players out than in.

You can use any excuses you want, but we've been playing very uninspired footy since Round 2. Even our wins have been boring.

I'm not calling for the coaches head or a fair weather fan but we need to play more footy.  BA needs to be better. He's trying to play 2016 Eels football with a modified squad and changing game.

    • Spot on GWF, even the Dragons game we let in some soft tries after having all the ball.  Our defence this season has fallen off a cliff.

  • Fong, did you not read Fake Midgets instructions in the blog heading and in the comments he provided ? He said 'real fans' are only to comment on his blog! He also said that Trolls & Clowns are too ( well I'm sure you can read for yourself your favourite type of vocabulary) again in case you missed it. Bye, bye!
