How we play in the next 9 games will define our season. Currently we sit at a 8-7 record plus 1 bye. Not a great stat plus we are the only team in top 8 with a negative F & A. From the modelling I've done Parra should finish on 32 points, in other words win 6 of the last 9. But our team doesn't play on paper and we are talking about Parra here. Our next 9 games will show whether we are contenders or pretenders.
We have an easy draw playing only 3 games against a top 8 team, one against the Storm with SOO players missing, with nearly all at our home ground and on Thursdays or Fridays. If we can't make the finals with all these advantages then Frankie Fong is right, BA is a bush coach.
Well Parra it's up to you now, don't let us down again, it starts on Thursday against the Dogs. The fans deserve and expect to see their players play in the finals for the first time in 8 long years.

It's the lower placed teams that I'm more worried about. Parra has often struggled against teams they are expected to beat, regardless of who the coach is. That's probably one of the reasons why we don't put cricket scores against these teams either. The players know what to do, it's in their hands now as to how committed they are.
It is also to our advantage that Dragons and Cowboys (for different reasons) may stagnate. On the flip side Panthers and Raiders could potentially be flies in the ointment.
I'm tipping the Eels to do what they do best tomorrow night and play the Bulldogs back into form.
Dogs by 68.
If BA can't beat the Dogs, then we'll send him packing back to the bush!!
I'm backing our Bush coach to spank one of the game's elite super coaches tomorrow night. The Kennel will be going crazy.
HOPE WE BEAT THE DOGS!
