Well I saw last nites game and stopped watching just after JT scored his try early in the second half. The bounce of the ball gods were definitely against us, 3 knock-ons I remember when we were tackling them, all on late tackle count and deep in our own territory. Once that god takes a set against you, you can never win!
What I noticed was how our forwards were dominated by the Cows, and they don't have a particularly big pack. I know I'll get the usual members here blabbing about how we were treated by the ref or some other lame excuse. The only excuse here is how small our forwards are compared with most packs. Until that is sorted we will continually struggle against the better teams in the comp and struggle to win the last 20 mins of the match. Also nearly all our middle forwards are average, of those tell me one forward that any other club would really want.
Evans is a step in the right direction, but imo not the sort of forward we need. We need forwards with a bit of mongrel and Klemmer, if the reports are correct, is the type of forward we need. So BA, open your wallet and buy him, we are one of the few clubs with room under the cap. We also need at least another 1 or 2 large forwards for when injuries hit which is common for us.
I'm not getting any younger and 31 years without a premiership is not a good result in anybody's language and only 2 appearances in a gf during the same time. Until we improve our pack we will continue to struggle and be a middle of the comp team.

x2 i like our backrowers but i think tep and mau need to try and run at the edges. Im not sue if anyone seen the ryan hoffmans try yesterday but that play would suit us and tep esspecially should be able to hit a hole like hoffman did yesterday
i think that 11-13 is good and i like our bench but i do think 8 and 10 are big issues. I like alvaro and i hope next year he is given a starting spot but that number 10 should be given to either evans or potentially klemmer if BA tries to sign him. I believe that both mannah and matagi dont even deserve a bench spot so that leaves us with the followng.

i have high hopes that what BA is trying to do and could potentially do will fix our pack.
10 and 17 in my opinion could be filled by the following next season:
Mehan: if we sign him and he turns out to be 1st grade standard
Evans: should occupy one of those spots
Klemmer: would be perfect fit and would definitely got number 10. We need to go hard after klemmer
First thing we need to do is fix the penalties. Some are sussed but 90% are correct.
Also we throw some DUMB passes.
If BA can,t control his players actions on the field, he needs to dump them.
As stated no one is chasing our players, Gutho would be the only one other clubs would chase.
Not big enough and far too one dimensional with one out hit ups. Predictable and ridiculous attack.
