    Injury seems the most likely answer though I didn't see him pick anything up last week. Might be some shenanigans being played as well so I guess we can only wait until Monday in regards to that.

  Wenty kicking off to start the game.

  The Cutters roll it upfield and bomb it deep on the last where Wenty take a good catch via Nic Walker I believe to get their first possession of the game.

  Wenty go on to pick up the first penalty of the game. Matterson finds touch 15m into the Cutters' half.

  Aloiai takes the first hit up down the left before we quickly shift it all the way out to Lavaka on the right where he is taken by the cover defence. We come back to the left and work to the posts on the last before Henry bombs for Lavaka on the right. Halauafu gets a hand to it but loses it forwards for a 20m restart.

  Oohhh and the Cutters bomb a try! On the back of the seven tackle set the Cutters march down the field and then find numbers down our left edge as Walker is beaten by a cut out pass. The home team look set for first points but the pass back to support on the inside is grassed!

  Bullet = dodged.

  Wenty then get the second penalty of the game as Lavaka is clipped high rucking it out.

  Moses Manu up first, Ualesi to follow as we centre the ball. Pakutoa links up with Alvaro before Matterson takes the ball to the line down the left, hitting Aloiai with a short ball.

  Wenty bust open on the next tackle! Offload from Lasalo to Nelson who darts through the retreating defence. Nelson props off both feet heading into the fullback and offloads to Matterson on his left who gets over the line but is called for a double movement! Would love to get a replay of that one!.

  Another strong set from the Cutters as they drive deep into our field. Wakeman makes a busts up the middle after an offload from Russel Packer and he is brought down metres before the line. That brings up the last where the Cutters bomb our left edge. Nic Walker is deep in field and although he races out to make to cover tackle on his opposite the winger for Illawarra is able to dive over and score in the corner.

  The conversion is missed.

  Cutters lead Wenty 4-0
