Hunter Valley Rocks! you got concerts in the wineries all the time and Harrigans bar to party at. Newcastle, especially Darby st is a nice place to hang out with nice cafes and bars. Then you've got Australia's best bar/club scene at Fannys and the Brewery where every chick looks like J Hawkins and bags of coke await you at the bathroom doors, which is surely a selling point for league players. I'm surprised not many players wanna move there.
The Zero Tackle web site is a much better place to look than this one, just my opinion though. You can also go to the link near the top of their page that gives a lot more options as well, not just end of 2017 but further years along with positions.
