This question comes off the back of my criticisms towards the club and our management that imo we do not have any pro active leadership, only out dated reactive leadership.
As a club we should be looking to be NRL leaders and innovators, a club that sets the pace with its strengths.
Its clear to me that at our club we are always behind the 8 ball, always content with mediocrity, we need to be more than that as a club, not sitting on our hands waiting to catch up.
Name one or three if you can, areas that you think our club are NRL leaders at, or setting the pace at in the NRL in the year 2018?
Things we are setting the pace with, that other clubs are looking at thinking 'we are going to do that too', what areas are we leading the competition with?
I truely cant think of any areas we lead the way in, when you look at it this way you'll realise that if we want to be winners and a strong club we need to be proactive, we need strong leadership who is in touch and who has the energy and vision to turn us into an NRL leader.
Its not a bad thing for fans to demand more from the club, to ask for the 'excellence' Bernie keeps blowing on about, we need to start being leaders or we will continue to be followers fighting for the scraps.
Get Real Parramatta, pull the finger out.

We probably have the most amount of Pokies, which equals never ending wealth, and maybe lead the way in mismanagement, cant think of any other area we could compete in.
Fair call Steve, might have to give you that one.
1. We have the most pokies
No I believe Wests have that one over us.
Western Suburbs don't exist anymore, Spoonamatta baby!!! It's what this club does.
We are currently the forerunners for this year’s Spoon.
We are catching up to Wests quickly.
When you consider they played 92 seasons for 17 spoons and we have only played 68 seasons for 13 spoons I reckon we will lead this count before too long.
As it stands, we are still 5 spoons ahead of our nearest rival playing in the current competition.
So come the end of 2018 we will be only 3 behind Wests but 6 ahead of Sowfs.
Surely that has to be a milestone and leading point for us.
We lead the comp for the most years of capitulating good leads in games played.
We lead the way in coach sackings but cannot beat Gus' latest move.
We lead the way for signing over the hill players to contribute to their retirement funds.
We lead the way for selling off the most promising talented players to other teams.
We lead the way for NOT promoting juniors (see my point above)
FFS Snake, aren't you paying attention to these LEADING stats for the club?
We do hold one wooden spoon record...... The most conservative spoons with 6 in a row. 1956, 57,58,59,60 and 1961. I’m not exactly sure what happened in 1951, 1953 and 1955 but we did win the spoon in 1952 and 1954 also. So over that 11 year period the mighty Blue n Golds won 8 of 11 wooden spoons. So along with St George’s 11 premierships in a row, our record of 8 spoons from 11 years will never be beaten or matched even.
Maybe we should play to our strengths and make a wooden spoon factory.
Actually if you consider that Parra won the spoon 9 times in the first 20 years, you can see that the club struggled immensely, and most likely didn't get any help (ie that the newer clubs get these days in terms of funding, juniors etc). If you disregard those years, there are 4 spoons, which is on par with a number of other clubs during that same time. In fact you could argue that those first 20 years created the passionate supporters we have today - by the late 60s fans were very happy to finally see some finals appearances.
That said, we should be doing everything we can to avoid this situation. It seems that in seasons like this year the players accept this as fate and look to next year.
