What - Hayne is playing well
Michael has gone down hill real fast over the past 5 weeks or so. Just terrible.
It was the dumb decision by the coach to take King off, who was having his best game this year and then put on Smith who was terrible and cost us the match with that moronic kick that gave the Dragons field position, leading to their try.
Interesting that it was not long back that many were wrapped in Smith great utility and the like need him to be in the first picked players. King showed a lot more form tonight but was out on his feet by the end of the game. I have never been a Smith fan, and for me Kaysa should have been on the bench tonight.
End of the day or game was sad, but to me the better team lost tonight, thing is though where were these players in the previous matches that have been lost? although we have lost too many by narrow margins really.
Tonight should have resulted in 2 points but didn't, if there was a reason for the loss or something to blame, then I would go for the once again dumb idea of not going for the penalty goals, 2 early on, and at the first penalty against us Dragons take the 2, we could have been at least 2 at the time, and then another penalty in the 2nd half and again no attempt at goal, had that been taken in a kickable position the game was ours.
No blame on BA as Gutho was captain and he refused to take the kicks.
What would you have done differently when King started missing tackles around the centre?
