Well people we have have got a young gun from Melbourne. I watched him play last night. Gutsy defender and seems to have a lot of potential. I guess that suggests Maguire is finished. This young fella was supposed to join Parra in 2013 for 2yrs but has had an early release due to season ending injuries to Maguire and Seage. He has agreed to come to Parra if he plays with the first grade team and it seems this has been granted. So people look out for a new young gun who led Melbourne U/20s to a grandfinal in 2009. Let's hope he is a good buy.

As long as he doesn't have shockers like last night (i.e. loosing the scrum from his feeding the ball), he's add good depth with soon to retire Casey McGuire gone.

This is a bit of a surprise considering Roberts had a good game against the Sharks & I'm not being sarcastic when I say I've never heard him. According to link he has only played 6 FG games in 4 years - hardly superstar material.
Robert's is not consistent! He has had 2 good games all year. Parra will not win a premiership with Roberts at 5/8 IMO! He is all rocks, I do not see any diamonds! Sorry, but it is just my opinion!
The problem there is who do you drop from the bench. IMHO Smith, Maitua, Allgod & Fui is the best bench we've had all year & was the backbone of our win over the Sharks.
Your joking right if you think Roberts hasnt producded and diamonds this year aren't you? Regardging the signing whats wrong with it he is young has potential he could be another case of matt ryan , cheyse blair or Paulo you dont know until he has been tested and i am sure he wont be breaking the bank. One last thing why does every signing have to be a marquee signing? maybe we will anounce one soon we are just filling our roster for depth with this signing obviously.
I know he has had some shockers I just think its harsh to say that he hasn't done anything good , he is always a threat when he runs the ball and usually picks up at least 10 to 15 metres with every scoot he takes.
Yea, it anoys me when the papers say he was one of our top buys and is compared to sandow and tonga (willie that is) because he didnt have in my opinion and most other parra supporters as high expectations on him as sandow and tonga and to be honest i think he has played better than most people expected.
