this is not another bash BA thread . But I think everyone can agree that we don’t expect BA to be coach in 2020
MAnly have wisely signed Hasler and he will get them top 8 next year. He had the mentality and skill to have his teams competitkve and with some of the stars in that team I think they will do well .
How can we learn from this ? Simple follow their lead sign a coach who has been successful and that has been apart of the club previously in a coaching /or playing capacity and undsertands the club .
On that criteria the current coaches eligible would be Flanagan , Robinson and pail green . Robinson and green recently got re-signed so they are not going anywhere but Flanagan I believe is up for grabs for 2020. I think we should throw big bucks at him . He knows the club , can build a roster , won a premiership, he does not take crap from NRL so more likely to get fairer referring as well against us

Didn't Hasler put Manly in the shithouse first, I like your idea of finding a successful coach for the EELS. However I think Manly's latest recruitment drive for a coach may not be the best example.
Are you getting mail on that Chief or is that your summation of how it's likely to play out?
That's the brains trust summation
Who's this brains trust?
I agree throw big money at Flanagan see what happens
You do realize with tight wad Charlie running the club at the moment that a $1 is big money! So good luck with flashing the cash.
Interestingly Siebold is off contract at souths after 2019 and they have given him until the end of the month to extend his contract or go elsewhere. It is more than likely he will go to Broncos if he doesn't stay at souths but we should at least have a crack.
I heard we did approach him.... poor Siebold fell off his chair cause he was laughing so hard. He thought it was a April fool's joke. Poor bloke almost cracked 3 rib bones from laughing so hard.
