  • 8 weeks due to a wrist injury? BS!

    • Depends on the severity of the fracture and if there was displacement of the bone or fragments in which case it would then need either an open or closed reduction. 8 weeks is pretty standard for a fracture that is not too serious. 6 weeks for bone healing and two weeks for physio to regain flexation.

    Lots of nasty little bones in the hand and they generally cannot all be set - just got to heal as best they can sometimes.
