Decison has to be made on one of these 2 in my eyes I don't think we can afford to keep both.
My preference right now is Hayne.
Leverage I believe is with Jennings as he has a 2 year option to stay or go.
Also think with Gutho being our play anywhere in the backline guy we have enough to cover if either decide to leave.
Basically it's nie on a million dollars in cap locked up in that centre spot on 2 guys who are coming to the end of there careers.
With the signing of Fergusson I think one of the mentioned needs to go.I think inevitably if one does leave it'll be Jarryd as he's on a one year deal without too much security.

Definitely Hayne
Hayne is driven to win a premiership with us
FACE THE FACTS! No club is going to pay Jennings a reported $800,000pa for the next 2 seasons. We are stuck with him taking up 9% of our salary cap-great list management by the Eels!
Best outcome would be for us to heavily subsidize his salary-say 50% and move him on.
As for Hayne-thanks but no thanks -we need new blood-we should be looking at all other clubs under 20"s teams and picking out new talent whose best years are ahead of them not behind them
On another note, Manly's hooker is off contract at the end of this year-he would be a much better pick up than the Cronulla's second string hooker
Both and Ferguson. Simple.
Does anyone know if Hayne actually wants to stay?
Jennings is in a form slump and will come out of it.
The way they are playing at the moment, I would prefer Hayne. But Jennings has taken up his option, and no one is picking up his $800,000 salary for him to leave, unless we pay a fair chunk of it. That said, over their careers, Jennings has been much more consistent than Hayne, and I am hoping he comes out of his form slump. What worries me is he is guaranteed that $800k for the next couple of years, so where is the incentive to perform?

How bout 400 k and we pay half to the lucky side that need an expirenced centre that's an option.
Move Gutho to left centre.
Pay Hayne the 400 K we saved.
