  • I didn't think he played that well, was outplayed by every other front row option on the field.

He hasn't got much speed, even for a front rower, and oppostion forwards are jamming up on him early and smashing him.

I honestly can't believe we payed $350,000 for a player like Poore when there are plenty of other guys out there who could do the same job for much much less.
  • Didn't you see him getting smashed by Matai? I know Matai is pretty strong but POORE is much bigger, and let's face it, he's a prop forward against a centre. His form has been acceptable at best but nothing like he was last season.
    • i was hoping for more contests between tahu and matai to be honest
  • I still have faith that Justin Poore will come good.

He has dramatically improved in the last few weeks and while he is still not showing the form we know he is capable of, I maintain that he will get there.

It still appears to me that he is adjusting to his new team and trying to find his role in our team. Perhaps a little more fan support would help him feel a bit more confident at his new club,
    • I think he is carrying an injury on the torso, there is no fire in his eyes, last year he held his head high and charged the defensive line like a rhino, this year he's a little bit like a kicked dog. I hope Poore is not one of those emotional players who have ups and downs.
  • Justin Poore doesn't seem to be playing with conviction. He certainly seems like he is trying, but perhaps he is trying too hard?

Maybe he needs to stop worrying so much and start enjoying his footy, the rest should come. It's not like he has forgotten how to play all of a sudden, I mean he was playing rep footy last year and all.

IMO he has had better games this year, this one probably wasn't one of his better ones. I think he played better against the Doggies.
  • needs to find his place at parra.

he look like he needs to start the game - not sure if hes an impact player
  • His hitting form each game .. his raising his bar each game higher I think ..
  • Can only get better with more game time. I guess when you look at things, 2011 could be his best season. Next year he should be starting after Cayless retires, hence he should get more game time.
2010 can be the year he gets to know Parramatta's structure and style, and next year when he starts for us, he'll know what's expected.
It's just like his career at the Dragons. He played off the bench for a few season when the likes of Bailey/Ryles were there, and once they moved on he got his chance and really impressed, already knowing the structure of the Dragons.
  • week by week his getting better and better
