Coming off a massive win against the Bears (70-0) it'll be interesting to see if the young boys can continue that emotional high against a middle of the table Sharks. For this team to be where they are now is a massive credit to them as we have a few 15 year olds playing up an age. A win against Cronulla should see them make the finals with only 1 round to play after this one.

It's massive that these boys are coming second and they should make the finals if they can win 1 of their next 2.
Can anyone tell what has happened with Wayne Francis? He started off the year with having a profile on our Under 20's list and is now playing for Balmain, has he officially swapped clubs? I thought he was set for a bench spot after the SG Ball season after being rated so highly by the club, guess it'll go to Twal or Amone now.

Any info on why Bevan French is on the bench Ham? I have been hearing he has been going great.
Doolan on the bench as well. Sometimes they do rotate these the junior reps purposely to give them all a fair outing so it might just be down to that.
It will be interesting once they hit semi-finals who's in the side.
re: SG Ball - you would think we'd be favourite for that comp, given that we won the last two Harold Matts premierships. Penrith has a pretty great side too, it was a bit of an upset last year when we knocked them ou in the semis.
I believe French had a slight ankle injury and sat out the Canberra game and the Bears game. Henry's Dream knows more about it than me but that's what I heard. I'd say that because of our position on the table and how we went without him in the past two games they're going to sit him out until the finals maybe giving him a few minutes here and there. He's been fantastic and is playing a modern fullback role which is closer to a traditional 5/8 as our SG Ball team also uses split halves. There has been some resounding praises of the young man being compared to some of the better players to not only come through out system but also some of the best young ones to play in these comps.
I'm pretty sure Penrith last year promoted a fair bit of their Harold Matthews team into SG Ball last season and thus have a very strong SG Ball team this year made up of players of age that have a year's experience.
That's the only thing I can think of, if we had Wayne this week it would have been one of the biggest prop rotations in the comp with Twal, Amone, and King partnering him.
