Junior Paulo & Josh Papalii coming to Eels?

The next time the teams meet, Junior Paulo could be back in the blue and gold. It has become evident during their winless run that the Parramatta pack is sorely missing something. There is no mongrel, no fear factor, no oomph. In short, no Junior Paulo. The Eels hierarchy is attempting to rectify the situation. It’s understood that, in coming days, Paulo will be presented with an offer he cannot refuse. After producing a blinder against his former team – he finished with 122 running metres and three offloads – he will command a fair chunk of their available funds.Meanwhile, another off-contract Raiders forward likely to pique Parramatta’s interest, Josh Papalii, scored a powerhouse try in his return from a stint in reggies. This was a team Stuart labelled “soft” just a fortnight ago.https://www.smh.com.au/sport/nrl/how-parramatta-suffered-a-final-indignity-with-season-on-life-support-20180414-p4z9o5.html

  • Paulo maybe but I can't see papali coming.
  • BA seemed to be smiling in the presser.

  • They’ll just turn into more retirement Eels players!

  • James Hoops is saying it is a done deal (Paulo) He is usually on the money.
  • Parramatta will need more than them two to even think about making the 8 in 2019
  • Sorry , don’t rate Paulo . Happy to be proven wrong but one half decent game every 5 isn’t the trying of player we need . We already have Norman and Hayne .

I didnt rate Paulo when we had him last time , I didn’t rate him when everyone was craig in their Cornflakes about losing the next Origin star when he fucked off to Canberra , and I still don’t rate him now .   I’ve backed Arthur mainly because he seemed to have a mindset of signing players in the Brown , Scott , Jennings and even Moses category , blokes with a competitive attitude who aren’t lazy .  With the signing of Hayne , the way Norman is a protected species and now maybe getting this big lump of shite back after the way he left and the whole weekend Rugby Union thing amongst others , I’m really starting to wonder whether he’s become that desperate he’s sold his soul and the players are running the show .

    • Paulo, 1 decent game in 5??? Still better than the rest of our team!!!!!!!!!

  • I'd be going after Mansour, Oates, Koroisau, Paulo, Boyd, Papali, Lodge, Junior,

If Norman and Moses don't start playing good soon I'd be dropping them
And bring in Salmon and brown as they have been killing it in the lower grades
Time to start blooding a few
Ray Stone and Nuikore should get a chance too
