His connection to the flegg ball and Mathews teams may put him in good stead as to which players are ready for promotion.
I think Jordan will be successful in his new position. Seems very level headed and driven and has a good understanding of the modern game.

He is current the JF coach who are getting worse to watch by the week. JF started the year one fire but once SG ball finish, JF went down hill which is a concern given the talent in that SG ball team. Yes there have been injuries, but the team selection has been woeful

That's my opinion. But EA doesn't seem too high on Rankin. I think he's done a decent job last two years in JF considering the flux there.
I think he can coach. I just question his team selection that's all.
