Jarome Luai

Jarome Luai

This kid seems to be a real prospect. He's still listed as off contract.

Any chance we could snare him from the Panthers.

The Mitchell Moses experiment is over.

  • Clean swap for Moses I don’t think they will let him go

  • Luai and Moses are a great combination. Moses gets sent to 6. And guess what Luai is a good goal kicker. Need to purchase someone who can kick goals.
  • Pretty sure he's signed for next season, doubt Gus will be letting a talent like him go.

    • not signed yet al  stuck behind s.o.o halves. you would think might consider a move. but dought parra  smart enough to enquire

      • He is signed for 2019 I thought I read, if not we could be knocking on his door ASAP.  But we are the most reactive club in the comp.  Another reason we are the joke of the league.

      • Parra can't  afford to can they.

Norman and Moses are on decent coin if one of them left you'd be paying the majority of the freight.

Also why would he consider coming here.

Luai has talent for sure but he's playing on a gun team that might change If he came here.

        • Well if Norman is on the way out why wouldn't we have the money for him???  But you are right why would you want to come here and be coached by BA.  The style of football we play is enough to turn anyone away.

          • Tell you what Al I think our best approach is look at a player trade.

If we off load someone like a Gutho/Norman for a Korisau/Tapau or something alike I think that's something we could look at as salaries basically offset one another that's an option I'd look at.

We would be still short a 6 but we beef up Hooker and Prop with possibly moving Hayne closer to the pill.

            • I have heard that Norman will not be here next year, so we wouldn't have to trade anyone IMO.

              • To be honest as of right now that surprises me as from what I'm seeing right now I don't trust Moses and he seems like a complex guy to get on with.I worry about that going foward and if you were bringing a young guy like Luai.
