Ryan Matterson has all the skills to be a quality five-eighth. Coming off a great year in NYC, he'll have the size to transition to NRL and let's assume he does that - in fact, let's assume he storms through and stamps himself the best young five-eighth in the competition?
How does that change Parramatta recruitment focus?
Assuming Foran is our current number on target, would that change? Or can Foran play in seven?
Do we instead target DCE? Or look for another half like Adam Reynolds?
Or do we stick with our current halves pairing and instead turn our attention to signing a marquee outside back like a Folau?
(If you want, you can replace Matterson breaking through, with Norman finally delivering on all the raps - but you get the idea, what if we become happier with the quality of our 6 than our 7).

Given that we play with split halves anyway, I'm not sure it would change too much with regard to Foran.
Norman is contracted for the next couple of years, but, given that halves are always in high demand, I imagine he could be shipped out without too much trouble.
Though, you generally find that big halves get pushed into the lock position. Ala Mateo, Graham, Sutton, etc. Matterson might find himself sitting in Wenty until he can handle playing in the second row?
ALSO, Arthur has suggested that Norman plays more like a halfback, and Sandow like a 5/8, with Norman steadying the ship and Sandow playing his 'natural creative game'. So, you might find that he stays on and shifts to the 7 shirt, allowing Matterson, or Foran, to play 6?
Lots of scenarios could play out.

As for Matterson....hmmm I rate ZDC higher as a half. But the Matto size factor may mean he plays NRL first. ZDC will mature into a quality half given time. No rush. 2016 I hope.
I'm not saying this is going to happen. I'm just polling people to say "what if?" We all want Foran and see him playing at six, I"m wondering what people think if the six situation miraculously sorts itself out.
And most of those blokes you mentioned, it's not about me saying they're going to be a star, it's either me saying they will make first graders at junior age or defending them as capable first graders. P.S. For the record, not even once did I tout Rogers in any way shape or form.
