We will give him space but will halves help him. Our spine is much better with Gutho and Brown in there."

Across the season, the Eels will have five Saturday night ANZ Stadium home game fixtures against the Sharks (R3), Knights (R13), Titans (R21), Dragons (R22) and Roosters (R25). And a few Thursday night games against Canterbury and Souths, 2 big following teams that could have been Sunday afternoon games. I for one find it very difficult travelling to Thursday and Friday night games; and while Saturday is good, night games have no atmosphere imo. Again TV rules.
It's no wonder the NRL can't draw crowds to games. Playing Souths and Canterbury (and St George) on Thursday nights is basically giving up on crowds. These are the games you would expect bumper crowds. So it would seem that Parra only have one game with pulling power, that against St George in Round 22 at ANZ.
Canberra in round 6. Other than that all in Sydney until round 12.
So Panthers, Tigers, Sea Eagles and Sharks all twice in the first 9 rounds.... and no Titans until round 21, Storm until round 23 and Roosters until round 25.
What happened to the "Draw of Death" ?
It died
The NRL do not seem to get it; that during winter for e.g. it is much less conducive to be live watching games at night during the week and let alone on the weekend. We do not have one day game after round 8 it seems which is very sad imo.
Here's hoping our season doesn't come down to the wire with those last 3 games we have.
