You're probably all sick of the Hayne posts. So haters, can just buzz off.
This bloke is one of the most gifted and most talented athletes Australian sport has ever seen.
I've been wondering, after Steve Sharps article.. Just how can we bring back Hayne? Which players will go? Which players will stay?
Knowing that Watmough is on around 800k, he is the first player that comes to mind if we want to bring back Hayne. There's been rumours that Watmough just may call it quits if his body doesn't hold up well for this season. We simply get rid of him, and pay him out.
Thats only 800k though. The minimum spend for Hayne would be around $1.2m, unless if he wants to play for unders.
Junior Paulo is another one that will most likely go, after hearing the reports that he's off to Canberra. Does anyone know how much money he's on?
I believe, if he has a poor season, it'll be a good idea to give Beau Scott the flick, considering he'll be 32 in 2017 and he's on around a reported $500k a season!!
We can also get rid of a few fringe first graders who would make a difference in luring Hayne. Such as De Gois, Wicks, Gower, Morgan, Toutai.
SO PEOPLE - Give me your thoughts on and ideas on how we can (financially) bring back the golden boy, Jarryd Hayne!

On a Hayne Plane?
You are an absolute dipstick Kurupt.
Chappelle got 25 years for shipping dope in a boogie board bag.
You can't just flick players who are under contract. In doing so, they have to be paid out - and that payout falls under the salary cap.
If Watmough were to retire through injury we could avoid paying him out but he knows that this is his last contract and is unlikely to just walk away. Same applies to Beau Scott.
Corey Norman is only contracted until the end of the year, same with Gordon - but together, wouldn't be on more than $600kish.
To release a contracted player we could hope that another club picks up part of his salary - but ultimately, no club is going to pay the majority of a released player's contract when every other club would know exactly why Parra are trying to offload contracted players (i.e. to free up funds for Hayne).
Ultimately, in order to get Hayne back we would require the NRL to open it's fabled 'war chest' - and this might occur if Hayne refuses to play for another club. But, if another club makes a legitimate market offer, the NRL are unlikely to either use their funds or give us dispensation to contract him on a back-ended deal (similar to the Israel Folau situation).
My sincere hope is he makes the grade in the NFL for at least 1 more season and perhaps we can nab him in 2018.
And get Hayne worried about concussion head injury from NFL
