Hollow feeling

As usual I attended last nights game with my son. Although I was extremely happy with the result in the back of my mind I kept thinking about the salary cap dramas. Is this win pointless as our season could be ruined with loss of competition points. After being a ticketed member for 9 years and undergoing other off field dramas as well as poor on field performances, finally this year I thought we would have something to cheer about! But I just have this hollow feeling and anger towards the parramatta board that continuly lets us down. But over all these years who is to blame? And that's my point people go in there for their own personal reasons but are never personally accountable. I have been eligible to vote at these board members but have never voted, mainly because I really don't know who to trust and because I've just really been interested in the footy side of things. But I've now realized you can't just be interested in the footy because if the board aren't doing their job the footy isn't going to be successful. They media keep saying the members can change things. My question is should us members get more involved politically.i can see myself this year voting at the elections. But again who is the trusted ticket. Who wants to be there to sevice, not for their own reasons. are there any other members out there who can vote in elections but never had, are you feeling the same.

  • We're not losing any points. Don't believe the hype. Celebrate the win, don't read the papers and it will all go away in a few weeks until Fitzy decides to stir the pot again..
  • If Parra win the Grand Final, will the title be stripped?
  • I dont care what they say i feel Steve sharp is still the man to lead us . Im not linked with any group im a supporter and i believe Steve sharp is the man. He has changed many things i see our club being around alot longer than it would have been with fitzy in charge .. he is the one who said we were going to be bankrupt .
  • Parra breached the cap and ran last. Not the brightest club going around.
    • Whole heap of differences between us the Storm that aren't even worth getting into.

  • Thanks Frankie I think your right, they nrl can't get us on money like the Tigers GC and knights but they can get some control through this threat. Maybe it's a positive long term. Problem is us parra fans have had enough pain and we deserve success sooner rather than later.
If this year's team is fine, it should b play on. If we cheated in the years we came last than strip us of our wooden spoon and fine us. Like Mel and dogs they succeed with their cheating. If we had won than all teams know titles will be stripped.
Let's just hope this is over soon do we can enjoy the rest of the season.
  • although I think it's probably bullshit
