  • Well done boys. Keep up the momentum.
  • Yes they played very well, i watched Manly win they were very gutsy looked exhausted in the 2nd half but still found a way to win. Parra looked much stronger though that 17 year old halfback looks very promising for the future
  • Manly came 8th and only on for and against. They have been playing high intensity games for over a month to ensure they made 8 and progressed. As parra had week off last week would like think style game they played today would put manly side away with lot powerful running with high intensity defence up in oppositions face.
  • People were saying at the start of the season how much our juniors were lacking too
  • Dylan Brown, Reed Mahoney are future graders and need to be put under lock and key until they are ready.

Brown is only 17 and taken to U20's like a duck to water.  I can see why we are happy to let Dargan go with this kid in the system.

    • Agreed. Very impressive performance today, very unParra like.

I was also impressed by Tonise, Ray Stone and Matterson.

If they can develop under lock and key, we may just have found the nucleus of a very good first grade side.

  • The second rower is an outstanding talent as well, the scary thing is they have about 6 or 7 20's players injured as well.  We can't keep them all but for once we have to keep the right ones.

  • The best ones will go to the poor clubs with no rep players like the cowboys, Storm, Broncos and Roosters. Clubs like Parra who are already brimming with international rep players will have to fight over the scraps .. it's only fair
    • The salary cap works flawlessly
    • ???

The thing is, players values change regularly. Not only at their current club but with many clubs.  For example. Before the Eels game last Sunday,  Lomax was more valuable to the Eels than after the successful debut of Blaize. Last week the Eels…"
