It's practically impossible for Slater to become an immortal before Hindy does. You have to be retired for several years before you are considered.
Give me a day or 2 and I will have a Hindy video up on this site and YouTube.
I remember how he was throwing up on the sideline after making 20 tackles in 20 minutes in an SOO game. A true gentleman, on and off the field. Rot in hell 3P and SK.
Trying to think of my all time favourite Hindmarsh moment... but nothing Absolutely Astonishing comes to mind... It's just all the unseen things, the dirty work, the last ditch tackles when nobody else could be bothered, the chasing the opposition winger right to the tryline not because he thought he could catch him but because it made the conversion attempt harder...All those things that probably indirectly allowed some of his teammates over the years to then go on and come up with the "Highlight Plays" because Hindmarsh kept them in the game or well in front....
