Yeah, he hardly walked out on them when all major reports are that he was released on good terms, (and according to Gould, "welcome back anytime").
The only suck-eggs bit about this story is the fact that Penrith paid overs for him, wrenching him from our clutches, (only to receive a poor return from him as a player).
Remember we almost signed this guy, thank goodness we got Jennings on the 11th hour! Real patchy form since he left Manly.
I remember when they signed Hiku it was a crazy period there were about half a dozen big name centres on the market including Roberts, Copley and Lafai. I think we were linked to all of them but ended up with Jennings.
