  • What’s the twist ?

    • The fact that Jarryd had given up hope staying with us? Now apparently theres a chance he might stay after all. If these Fairfax reports are true.
    • He’ll only play 12 games
    • The twist is that the tribes will merge to become one big tribe. Oh sorry, wrong blog...

    • A report on one of the NRL media sites has it that the club will offer a two year deal, with the bare minimum of $200K this year and back ended to cover this year and 2020 at even out amount, said to be making the second year a good amount. Possibly short of what he wants but likely acceptable to each side.

      • No way the NRL will allow us to sign him for $200k.

    • HKF, I disagree if we show the NRL a contract 200k for 2019 then maybe 700k in 2020. They might sign off. Hayne is still getting 900k.

We’ll see what happens. There’s still a 50/50 Hayne won’t be here next year.
    • So effectively we sign him 450k a year? Highly doubt he wants that little.
  • A twist like “shutter island”???
  • I'm sorry I'm over this,  if we manage to keep this bloke once again it's not for the right reasons and once again on his terms.
