The Parramatta Eels have broken their drought, defeating the Gold Coast Titans 24-18 in a tough clash on the Gold Coast.
Jarryd Hayne produced another highlights filled performance that turned the match on its head.
The Titans opened the scoring through a rampaging Dave Taylor. The big man crashing over off a Brad Takairangi short ball.
15 minutes later and the Eels responded, Chris Sandow taking the ball to the line and finding an unmarked Ken Sio who crossed out-wide.
The Eels looked threatening down their left edge but Semi Radradra was unable to control a Ken Edwards pass.
The Titans took advantage of a penalty goal on offer and the half-time score stood at 8-6.
The Gold Coast crossed shortly after half-time through Anthony Don who collected a superbly weighted Daniel Mortimer kick. The missed conversion saw the Titans led 12-6.
Jarryd Hayne then decided to inject himself. 30 metres out from his own line he took a pass from Sandow and ran at his NSW teammate, Greg Bird. Shrugging off Bird, Hayne accelerated upfield before standing up Kevin Gordon and scoring in the corner.
Chris Sandow showed that he's got his mojo back, nailing the sideline kick.
Hayne was in again shortly after when Chris Sandow took on the line before popping the ball to a screaming Jarryd Hayne who scored next to the posts. The Eels took the lead 18-12.
Corey Norman then pushed home the Eels' advantage when he chased through a Chris Sandow grubber, diving on the loose ball. Sandow's fourth conversion saw the score at 24-12.
With under a minute to play, James Roberts was able to scoot around the Eels' defence to score but time ran out. The Eels triumphant, 24-18.
It was the first time since 2010 that the Eels had comeback from a half-time deficit away from home to win.
The two points gained sees the Eels into 10th spot, equal with the Warriors, Broncos and Tigers.
Parramatta face the Cronulla Sharks next week in a match that could see the Eels climb back into the Top 8.

Every one is allowed a "Brain Snap" now and then Super - this is your's for 2014.
Cronulla is one of our bogey sides - oops - so are the other 15 in the comp.
Nearly had a brain snap myself.
It's not quite a brain snap. It's an each-way bet. We could move into the eight or we may not.
F&A says we have LESS than a snowflakes chance in hell of making the 8.
We need to be 2 points clear of the 8th placed team which means we have to win EVERY game from here on in and hope like hell no other team can top it.
At best - 10th.
