  I agree. At the moment Hayne isn't properly being utilised other than the occasional spiral bomb which when he does kick, is far more effective than Moritmer's kick at the moment. His returns are lazy and I miss burt's speedy returns. At least burt trys to get around the opponent instead of just submitting straight away after a lazy return. At the moment Hayne is being used kind of like a halfback anyway, what I want is for it to be an official role and this will involve him at the end of every set which is a recepe for greatness.

  Leave Burt on the wing I would rather see barba given a shot that would give us another ball player in the team as we only have one at the moment

  Luke at 1, Hayne at 6, Mortimer at 7, Robinson to 9.  He plays more like a hooker anyway!

  It looks like Haynes' gone from doing EVERYTHING in '09, to ALMOST NOTHING this year.

  I'd hope he'd play a Darren Lockyear-like role - just getting involved when he has to, not touching everything every play.

  I agree with this too. look barba is a great player, but he would get eaten alive on bombs and defence. ATM he is just too small. hes like 65 kg. he looks it anyway. let him bulk up for next year.

  I love his attack but he wont be ready yet. The only thing im excited about is loko getting a shot. I like atkins too. keep those guys in.

   

  Maybe put burt at the back and hayne at 6. even tho he wont want to.its gotta be done. maybe til humble is back and switch em back.

  Hi John,

   

  You took the words right out of my mouth. If we are any chance of making the 8 this year, Hayne must move to 6 and Burty back to his preferred position of fullback.

   

  I don't really care who he partners, but Hayne needs to be there in the front line. The players around him will lift aswell and grow in confidence.

  agreed he is still coming back from that hamstring injury  so that could still be something he dosnt have 100% faith in tough injury to come back from.

   

  but ive been saying this since 09 and the only way he could fix it if he ran back hard and got a quick play the ball and that would fix hes game. thats not even mentioning hes poor postional play.

  since that hasnt changed in what? 3 years now 5/8 is hes best option ive been saying that for years he will be one of the best 5/8 to ever player the game noone can do what he can do

  Having Maguire and Mitchell's spark from dummy half would be an added bonus and take the pressure off Hayne aswell.
