Why would Phil want to moderate opinions?
Moderation of rubbish (slander, defamation etc) is taken down immediately, but people are entitled to opinions. EGJ isn't above criticism nor should he be.
I also like how EGJ tries to make this site seem like a cash cow for Phil. I've run high traffic sites before, money makers they are not. I'd be impressed if Phil was breaking even. This site is quite obviously a labour of love and a great way to give true Eels fans a voice.
It sucks when people like EGJ use their profile for political purposes and just try to mud sling whenever there's some scrutiny. A man if integrity would tackle the criticism, take on the arguments and intelligently speak to the fans to aim to get both sides of the story. When you just reply to your twitter followers, you're just going to get an echo chamber of support to reinforce your own feelings of always being right.
