I would just like to start by congratulating every1 on the wooden spoon.
After alot of dubious calls last night the cowboys were allowed to win the game. But we as a team played bad aswell, we were never gona be given a fair go with it being johnathen thurstons last game at home and the whole instamce seemed like a rort before a ball was even kicked.
In saying that the nrl loves a fairytale finish. It gives the audience of that team and audiences of other teams a talking point. Leaving the fans of the team that got screwed over in disaray. Its better giving the fans of 15 other teams what they want as opposed to just a single fan base. It also enriches history of the sport for example people are always gona look back and say " remember that time tigers came from last position and won the grandfinal with a flick pass" or remeber that time "mark gasnier came back for one more year and won the grand final"
What is your most dubious or auspicious fairytale?
Mine has to be the return of sbw and winning the premiership on his return. It wasnt exactly the grand final win, it was the fact the roosters were able to recruit a tonne of talent that year with out being over the cap. That year the roosters roster was miles ahead of any other roster in the league, even melbournes roster wasnt close to there lineup. Furthermore people play there whole careers with out winning a premiership but sbw come in and wins it in his 1st year back. To me it seemed like they wanted to keep him in league.
So tell us what is your most dubious fairytale victory?

Pesonallly I find it hard to believe the prince would’ve married a scrubber like Cinderella when he had a whole kingdom to choose from . As if there wouldn’t have been a chick as hot if not hotter that wasn’t poor with chaffed knees and shitty inlaws you have to put up with .
Another is Snow White , Supers left leaning statistics will tell you that at least one of those 7 dwarfs would’ve sexually assaulted her . But the fairytale fails to mention who it was . The happy ending will always have a cloud over it due to us not knowing the sad story behind the scenes .
