Our attack is Moses running sideways then turning ball back inside for a one out hit up by one of our forwards. Great tactics.
Wingers never see the ball in general play unless it is chasing a misdirected kick.
Because they are very very poorly coached
You're exactly right. There's just no tempo or urgency in attack, opposition defences are always set and ready to smash us. I wouldn't be quite so unhappy about our predictable hit-ups from the likes of Alvaro and Co if there were at least a few players pushing up with them in support. It's like they're going through the motions.
Another thing that annoys me with our hit ups is how none of the forward pack catch the ball at speed, next to the hooker except for Brown. Alvaro typically catches the ball 2-4 metres behind the play the ball and is usually well below top speed at that point. Do you think something this obvious is ever discussed with the forwards?
We lose the ruck every week, we then give penalties to try and slow the opposition up. Then we are gassed from doing all that tackling and our attack suffers. It's not rocket science but seems lost on plenty on here and our coaching staff.
Lets face it we don't have a pack or the body shapes to compete in the NRL this season, the coach and his staff have misread the game this season so badly. Any changes to the side is shuffling the deck chairs on the titanic.
There is no one more one dimensional in coaching than BA, bloke has barely got a plan A let alone a plan B.
They look exhausted
