Such exciting times for the club, so lucky to be getting this stadium, even though its been a lean few decades we will be able to have something to be really proud of to go and watch our club and to play out of.

Please add your stadium pics here, thanks to all of the people who have taken these pics, especially the stadium thread on the  WSW forum where ive taken many of these pics from, thankyou to all...

Birds nest? Coliseum? WSC, WSS, Anybody got any good names?

Below, The field of dreams on completion before opening, April 2019, now officially has the name Bankwest stadium but will always be Parra stadium to me.

Go the Eels!

Pictures, add your stadium pics lads,

Cheers

  • Shaping up nicely. Can't wait!!!

  • Looking very Coliseum indeed. Can't wait.
  • Snakey, I'm a little worried mate, as that photograph looks like it was taken from the Parramatta 'higher court' precinct nearby.  Everything ok mate :)

The noise will be coliseum like due to the design!

    • Haha, dont give up my secrets Dave!

Its going to be so freaking cool to have a stadium that the stands go all the way around, ive always wished that for parra stadium.

A stadium with open ends feels like half a stadium to me, it lets the energy escape from both ends instead of containing the noise and vibe, we're getting a real stadium now all be it a budget one, im stoked.

    • Don't worry BD, Snake has a priority access car park pass I'm sure, lol !

  • Great pic snakey. Like i said previously, was up close last week, and it has to be seen live to appreciate the size and steepness of the upper deck.
  • BACK IN 86. I WAS DRIVING TILT/TRAY FOR A HIRE CO. I DELIVERED A ROLLER WHEN THEY WERE LAYING THE TURF.MY MATE( DECEASED ) AND I STOOD IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD THINKING WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE

RUNNING OUT FOR PARRA. WE LOOKED UP AT THE CRONIN STAND DECIDED WHERE OUR SEASON PASSES

WERE GOING TO BE  H/WAY LINE           10 ROWS BACK. WE HELD THOSE SEASON PASSES TILL I MOVED UP THE TWEED VALLEY.IN 06.  HAVE NOT SEEN MY EELS LIVE SINCE. BUT I STOOD ON THAT SACRED GROUND AND HAD A DREAM.

    • Awesome post nudgy.

    • Nice story Nudger. Good work; and seemed like a good tuft of oval grass. Parra stadium always seemed to have good surface.

    • Great story Nudge......."My Eels"'...................Thats how I feel precisely  During the good times and the bad times they're still "My Eels"

Ken Thornet came to my school way back in the early 60's and I was smitten.Been back and forth from Cumberland Oval win or lose and will keep on doing till I get buried.
