Brad Arthur

I was down at Cabra watching the junior rep teams on Saturday & as I was walking I ran into Brad. He was more than happy to have a quick chat & looked to be in a pretty good head space. I trully hope the Eels perform to a high standard this season because BA is a top bloke & Eels through & through so I hope to see him coaching the mighty Eels for years to come. Now all the BA haters can give it to me all they want but the fact is BA stood strong when we were on our hands & knees begging for mercy in 2016 & I will NEVER forget that. I believe he is a more than capable coach & would have learnt a lot last season so let's hope it pays off. I see that Barrett has been linked to us _ Please No, Jumps ship at Manly as soon as it's too tough ( Won't last a season at the Eels ) & there are calls for Flanno. The guy is a walking infringment which is exactly what we don't need. One thing we all know is that BA is our coach this season so let's ALL get behind him & act as fans the way we want our team to act as pro footy players. PRIDE in the BLUE & GOLD.

  • Yeah he's a good bloke and Bleeds blue and Gold!!!

Thats good enough for me lets give him another 5 years minimum!!!!

    • You are funny.....

  • Actually what I said is I hope the team perform to a high standard so BA gets to remain as coach but you read it any way you want. No good trying to be positive on this site so thanks for not letting me down by actually reading what I wrote. BA haters line up here.

  • I think it’s pretty decent of him to come and chat to just joe average.

I know alot of other coaches who wouldn’t.

I wish him and the team well results regardless.

  • I hope we win the comp and he gets an extension - i'm not confident but there is nothing I would love more. I'm not a BA fan as such but I would love to be pleasantly surprised with premiership glory.

As for Barrett - I've never seen that bloke with anything but a blank/confused expression on his face. Seems to be a bit of a dope.

If Junior makes yards, the other forwards follow, and D Brown lives up to the hype - who knows :)

    • fontal labotomy from picking his nose with those long fingers

    • Kram the way I look at this season the team has nothing to lose.

I hope BA rides the young guys he promotes and keeps playing them result regardless.

We like to throw stones at him for not doing the mentioned well like the team BA has nothing to lose also. Its quite simple for him really if the team doesn’t perform he’s history.

Even though I’ve always believed he’s never had a level playing field because of the lunatics running the asylum off the field but alas it is what it is.

      • Coryn thats a good reply, do take one exception to it though, and that is what you say  We like to throw stones at him for not doing the mentioned No one is throwing stones at him at all, as its more like boulders that are used to hold the ocean swells off beaches.

  • BAs Game plan is that hard, it’s a simple mistake free footy and yardage, play footy at there end, The players need to follow the script rather than going one out and trying plays that you don’t do a training ie corey Norman. He does lack in attack plays expecial close to the opposite teams try line, Aurthur has always been about Defence and Desire, I’m hopeing the new staff and coaches around him can help him in this area, I love the sighning of Grimma Great footy brain and would have already had an impact on Brads Coaching.

I think we will finish we’re our roster allows us, not because of BA,a Coaching. If BA went to Melbourne do you think they would get the spoon? Just sayin.....

  • The only way that Brad Arthur will be at Parramatta in 2020 is if the club finishes top 4 and either makes the grand final or wins the competition.  All of which are highly unlikely.
