Judge him on his effort at the Knights, they were in a similar situation to what we are in now.

Bennetts rep team only snuck home over the cheapie stone cold spooners last night and it was only pure luck that the bounce went their way. Seriously if our coach and side are as lowly on the table as we are why couldn’t the SuperCoach and his money side at Suncorp, put another fifty on us!?

I was always a big Bennett fan but I think he’s getting towards the time to go out with a bit of dignity . What happened at The Knights I don’t think is a good measure of his coaching ability , not only was he distracted by his prick and putting it in a nice younger bit of smoo , but he also had Tinkler hampering Wayne’s decisions and dealing with players who weren’t receiving their paycheques . At the moment he’s dealing with a pretty young team minus a few experienced players .
Should we sign him ? Well if you guys want to punt Arthur , Wayne would be my choice over Hasler , Toovey , Madge but I’d be only offering him a short term contract with options our way .
100% correct Browny . The ojert thing to look at is who would give us a better chance at success , A bush coach who has achieved nothing or a 7 time premiership winning coach in Bennett even if he is a old bastsrd ? Bennett at his worst would still piss on BA at his best .
Yes that too Browny , McKinnon’s injury certainly affected that club . Wayne tenure at The Knights should be treated like Gibson’s time at Cronulla and Souths . It just wasn’t meant to be .
