Are you starting to doubt SK?

After 2 rounds I've got to say i'm a little baffled by some of SK's calls. Week 1- Fantastic. Then he changes a winning side bringing in MK for Casey , Hicks etc. Now he seems to have panicked again and dropped Allgood (who for mine has been one of our best) and brought back Etu for Hicks.

All we crave is consistency, but it is a little hard for the players when there is so much chopping and changing. This isn't Man Utd. I hope in a couple of months i can still say "in SK we trust!!"

  • a little confused with a few decisions, one being how morgan or walker will stop gi , but it is still early days .
  • I think you will find Etu was out last week due to injury and Allgood is out this week due to injury. Having said that Casey should definitely have started last week.
  • I just joined, like, 53 seconds ago. So I may as well say something. It's too early to doubt SK. Same as it's too early to praise him. I don't envy his job, given the squad with which he is working. I'm sure he would like to have halves with creativity and field-vision.
  • It's only round 3 and the only change he has made is MK for Casey last week. The others were due to injury. Don't forget its a new coach with new ideas. Atleast we have a fit squad this year and many close games this year will be won because of our fitness. Our defense has been great if you ask me. Last week we conceded two tries from broken play which i thought were a bit unlucky. We always seem to struggle in the rain so lets hope its dry tomorrow night.
  • I think you'll find most people who weren't there were due to injury. And SK has only had 2 rounds to see how is team is going. I think you'll see a couple of changes here & there till mid-season.

You can't doubt SK in any way after 2 rounds.

  • No, I'm not doubting him.
  • Give him a few more games to get results or punt him.

I hear Brett Kenny thinks he deserves a job.

  • I think its a little concerning how they didn't turn up. We had the same problems with Anderson, Hagan and Smith. They knew Penrith would come hard but seemed not ready to battle them. I hope SK can instill some toughness there.
  • I don't know if i'd punt him after a few games. He's got to have a chance to sign some players. Although there hasn't been much success there so far.
  • Waaaayyyyy to early.

Generally picking the same team long trem can only be a good thing.

However with the style we are playing now you could chop and change everyweek and it wouldn't effect us too much.

We are in the position where all our centres/wingers are of pretty much equal ability.
