Anyone else concerned about our recruitment of lack of it?
I mean we have plenty, about 14 i think, off contract and only a few have been re-signed and signings are what 3?
Jnr Paulo, Blake Ferguson and Shaun Lane.
I'd say there will be 2-3 promoted from the juniors to the top 30 as well.
But I'm really concerned about what sort of side we will have next year and if it will be competitive at all.
So much so I didn't even do a pre-order for any 2019 Eels gear, none.

What had nov 1 got to do with it?, nov 1 is the date when you can start negotiating with players off contract at the end of 2019 season.
Clearly the club is waiting on the return of Fanny Fong from being Supers b1tch before signing any new players. They wouldn’t want to deny Fanny his only enjoyment in life (aside being the bathroom attendant at Kens of Kensington) which is to slag off any and every initiative the Club makes.
lol...........you seem lost without him..............does this help...............DOPE>>DOPE>>>DOPE>>>....etc.....lol....sorry hopefully fong will be back soon.......
Fong has been busy with the Jewish festive season. He will be back momentarily.
if Fongy is a jew
Hitler was right
No not concerned
was concerned about last season with a small pack and not a top line hooker.
But Maloney prides good quality service and although still a rookie will be on a steep improving curve
Would like to get the services of a dummy half coach like Ennis or Buderus to give him guidance
Pack size is being sorted and we be sorted if we can get Kapow or Klemmer
Everyone wants instant fix. But sometimes instant fixes lead to instant catastrophe. If we have to bide our time and wait for the right player to become available then so be it
Just so when there is an opportunity we take it. David Fafita sounds like a bad stuff up. Much better to recruit young and cheap than once they start playing first grade and have to spend so much cap space it may not be worth it
only thing that worries me about next year is the lack of a half who knows how to manage his team and the game. We needed Cronk more than any other team
with the halves, it's like Moses was given control of the team and tried to do it all himself early in the season and then later in the season no one wanted control.
To be honest it was like BA told them one was the main play maker and then the other one just sooked for the rest of the season,
Mid year BA gave the two halves in Norms and Moses a license to play as they saw it. Seems to me that the pair of them went out with deep shades over their eyes and ear plugs in to prevent them seeing and hearing together.
They looked like a modern day working party from the McCoy and Klampet days in the Osarcs, rather than team players.
Outside of that as far as next year is concerned, I am prepared to wait and see what recommendations come from the review and their implementation before any real comments, 3 definite signings have been made and some dead wood cut so far. and likely some more to come.
