The Parramatta Eels National Rugby League Club is pleased to announce that its current “Sleeve Sponsor”, ALAND Developments, a leading property development and construction company, has upgraded its sponsorship to include “Back of Jersey”, through until the end of 2018.The “Back of Jersey” sponsorship will commence this week ahead of Parramatta Eels’ Round 4 clash with the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks for Johnny Mannah Cup.Parramatta Eels CEO Bernie Gurr said: “We are very proud that that our partnership with ALAND has grown significantly in such a short period of time. It’s a testament to the positive changes we have made and our commitment to being one of the most professional Clubs in the NRL with our decisions governed by our core values. This is fantastic news for our Club, Members and fans”.ALAND General Manager Alex Picalovski is delighted to be growing the partnership with the Parramatta Eels: “It’s exciting for us as a western Sydney business to be an even bigger part of the Eels Club. We can see the clear advantages of being part of Parramatta Eels and we look forward to seeing our brands grow together.”ALAND has developed a number of residential sites throughout the Sydney metropolitan region, boasting its own team specialising in conceptual design and planning, construction, finance, development, management and marketing.

  • Anyone got the word on this? Hopefully this isn't a repeat of previous examples where we've done it for cheaper than what it's worth just to fill the void?
    • They're also on our sleeve and sponsor the Panthers as well, I don't think its got anything to do with being cheaper.

    • TFF, Bernie has already publically stated that are prepared to ride it out to find the right fit for the club, now take that as you want but that basically says he is not going to sell ourselves short !!!.

People need to get it into their heads we are not a poor club, Parra Leagues is the 2nd highest turn over club in NSW behind Panthers. Wenty Leagues also sits in the top 5!!!

    • Not current management, but previous ones, previous sponsors. Not suggesting it is the case here, merely asking if anyone has any inside info. Does seem slightly odd to go from sleeve only to sleeve + back of jersey. Can't rememeber it happening too often at any club
  • Well played Bernie, well played

  • We probbably have a new sleeve sponsor lined up and have upgraded ALand for being nice people . I guess time will tell over the next couple of weeks .
  • As for the front of the Jersey.... I wouldnt mind going the whole year with "PARRA" written on the front! Looks awesome

    • I agree, I absolutely hated it at first but now I love it.

  • Imagine them holding up the Trophy all lined up with PARRA on their chests, what a great picture that would be..... On second thought, holding up the trophy would be a great picture no matter what was written on the jersey lol
