How Parramatta are going to fill these positions is the real question — because right now, it doesn’t add up.
You don’t lose that many experienced Top 30 players and simply replace them overnight, especially under a tight salary cap. The reality is they’ll be forced to lean heavily on unproven juniors, plug holes with bargain signings, and reshuffle what’s left of the squad. That might work long term if a few players click, but short term it screams lack of depth, inexperience, and a forward pack that could get rolled. Outside of Luai, this doesn’t look like a reload — it looks like a gamble.
Also the people questioning Anderson's strategy - Metcalf was an absolute powerhouse last night.
Some are saying the 2027 will be stronger than 26 - it certainly doesn't look like it

We're stacked in the forwards with the junior development, what we need is a strike centre and top quality forward and maybe another edge player. But I reckon we'll have some young guns filling the roles, adding to the experience of the youth playing NRL now is going to help us immensely in 27-28-29-30.
Trust me chief I think this year was accounted on how the rule changes affected us but also we're now adapting better for it. I'm too concerned but you can't go out buying everyone when you already have a stacked roster of juniors in the system already it's about how we can utilise them to becoming and NRL player rather than being in the NRL as a player like Ryles mentioned before.
Im expecting Funa iuta to get a run. Its no use resting guys like Walker if we're not going to give the development players a shot.
