2012 EELS MEMBERS FOOTY FORUM

The Pirtek Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce a 2012 Members Footy Forum will take place on Friday 3 February at the Parramatta Leagues Club.

Featuring Eels Head Coach Steve Kearney, Recruitment Manager Peter Nolan and record-breaking winger Luke Burt, the Members Footy Forum is a chance to talk all things football with the Eels.

Join Steve, Pete and Luke in the Parramatta Leagues Club Auditorium as they take you through the exciting season ahead, the new faces in the Eels ranks, and answer questions from the floor from Eel for Life Members.

The 2012 Members Footy Forum will kick off at 6.30pm sharp. Following the event the Parra Firehouse restaurant is pleased to offer all guests a 2-for-1 pizza offer.

This exclusive event is available to 2012 Eels Members ONLY and pre-registration is essential - please email the Eels Membership department memberships@parraeels.com.au with your name and Membership number to secure your spot.

There are only 400 seats available so register now to ensure you don't miss out!

On the night, your membership card (or if you haven't received your card yet, your membership confirmation letter) will be required to gain entry to the PLC Auditorium.

I would imagine the event will be carefully moderated and I hope they get a professional in to do this. No doubt they will be aware of the Waratahs fan forum held last year where many fans ripped in about various issues ranging from style of play to the culture of the club. The Tahs allowed 120 fans in for their forum and we are having around 400!

The Ken will be there on Friday night asking all the hard questions. In fact it is my duty as a journalist to be there. I will be asking Mooks why he doesn't rate Luke Burt ? Luke Burt what he thinks of being pushed into retirement ? Peter Nolan who he has found to replace Luke Burt ? When will Tony Zappia be starting ? and Can I have extra cheese on my Pizzas ?

Guys, can I ask who is coming along to the Footy Forum event?

If you can make it, I do encourage you to make the effort to come along. I'd hate to think after all the effort that was put into trying to get the club to do this that it ends up getting a small turnout and the initiative hits a wall. Its also hopefully represents another meet-up opportunity for 1Eyed members. I'll certainly be there, and looking forward to sharing a beer with at least a few of you after the event. For all I know it's going to be chockers, but just in case, I can only encourage all members to get along and show the club that you value an event like this.
